Guided Steps Discipleship is a grassroots, faith-based organization, providing mentorship for college students nearing graduation and heading into a technology-related career. We connect college juniors and seniors with Christian professionals who bring extensive technical and corporate leadership experience. Through a managed mentorship relationship, students focus on career decisions, leadership, ethics, integrity, workplace challenges, and faith at work. Mentoring sessions begin with a short biblical topic and Scripture study to create an open, Spirit-led forum where students can seek guidance, discuss real-world situations, and explore how Christian values can shape professional decisions.
At the heart of Guided Steps Discipleship is a simple desire to give students essential guidance, based on Christian foundation, that can shape a life. Inspired by the personal experience of a successful technology executive whose own path was greatly influenced by an early mentor, Guided Steps Discipleship brings together experienced technology professionals who share a strong Christian faith and a desire to invest in the next generation. Through these personal connections, the impact of one meaningful mentoring relationship is multiplied across students and universities, all at no cost to participants.
